Best of 2013 – Skincare & Makeup

2013 was a year of experiments for me. I tested and tried lots of skincare products and few of them got permanent place in my routine. It was really hard to pick few of them , and decision is solely based on my preference. These are the products I reach out for all the time and they have worked really well for me !

Lets Start from Skincare-

Sebamed Cleansing Foam – This was a miracle product for me. I am using it ever since I discovered that my skin is acne prone. It has definitely calmed down acne a lot and worked on skin congestion too ! I am on my 3rd bottle  and would continue using it.

Vichy Normaderm Purifying Toner – This is again a wonderful product. It has reduced acne breakout recurrence and whiteheads to a great extent. My skin is lot more smoother and clear after using it.

Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum – I love using serums, since they have higher concentration and work immediately. Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum is a part of my skincare routine for past 2.6 months and it has made visible improvement in my skin texture. Its moisturizing without being sticky or greasy !

Burt’s Bees Pomegranate Lip Balm – I bought this lip balm from sephora, infact it was a part of my first ever haul from there. This is one of the most used lip balms and I am almost through with it ! Its not sticky or glossy and keeps my lips soft and supple.

Now from Makeup

Bobbi Brown Mineral Foundation – I hardly wear foundations during summers as my face sweats like crazy and nothing lasts on it. Bobby Brown Mineral Foundation was my go to product throughout summers and even now I use it a lot or may be everytime I go out. Formula looks natural and doesn’t turn patchy. It gives a polished and smooth look to my skin.

MAC Mocha Blush – By far my favorite blush ! I don’t like too much color on cheeks during day time , Mocha is the safest option. It delivers just the right amount of color and looks natural. Everytime I wear this blush, people ask me what blush I have on 🙂

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick Antigone – This is my GO TO shade !! I wear it almost always .. no matter where I am going or what I am wearing, this one shade goes almost with every color ! Half of the product has already finished, and I am definitely buying it again. Its a beautiful berry color that would suit everyone.

Bobbi Brown Cognac Eyeshadow – I love Brown eyeshadows. They can be worn day or night, and give you that polished look. Cognac is super pigmented and stays on for good 7+ hours without a primer. I love its texture and blendability. Formula is not flat matte but has a slight metallic finish to it. This is a must have color if you love browns.
