This shade would suit fair to medium skin tones. If you fall under medium to dark , then layering up the product will make it show up better.

Texture & Formula – Mocha is matte in texture. Matte blushes have a tendency to look or feel chalky/ powdery but that’s not the case with Mocha. It feel light and soft textured. On my complexion (NC 42) it has to be layered up twice to show up well. Formula is fine that  doesn’t turn patchy and easy to apply & blend.MAC Mocha Blush review and swatches (3)Honestly when I looked at this blush in store I said no to the SA as I though that the shade was too light to show up on my complexion. But SA insisted on trying it, once she tried it on me , I was sold .. It looks very natural and can be worn during the daytime or to work comfortably like MAC Gingerly.

Pigmentation – Mocha isn’t loaded with pigments. Its good for fair complexions as there would be less or no chances of mistakes. For medium to dark skin girls this has to layered up to show better. Best part is that it doesn’t turn patchy or uneven on layering up.MAC Mocha Blush review and swatches (1)Staying Power – It stays on me for good 5 -6 hours.

Overall Thoughts

One of the wearable matt blush. Mocha will compliment fair to medium skin tones well. Its matte texture makes it a perfect day wear blush and it can be worn to work or shopping. This shade will look good with Red lips too. I like how it gives just a warm wash of color to my cheeks without looking overwhelming. Formula is easy to blend and stays on for good + hours. I would recommend it to fair to medium skin tones as the shade might not show up well on deeper complexions.
