NARS Lovejoy Blush (2100/- INR for 4.8 gm)

After NARS Taj Mahal and NARS Torrid blush, here is another favourite of mine from their permanent line – LOVEJOY. I have this since 3 years and trust me it is one of the most used blushes of mine as it’s easy to wear at any time of the day. The blush goes on perfectly on our warm, olive skin tone and will work on anyone easily. I have NC 37 – 40 skin tone and it show up nicely, even if you are above NC 45 it will flatter the skin tone effortlessly.

Shade – NARS LOVEJOY is described as shimmering Bronzed Rose, it is shimmering reddish bronzy brown shade with fine golden sheen shimmer to it , the shade is very flattering but the shimmer may scare you at first , but trust me its finally milled and adds that sheen rather frosty look . The blush has soft rosy hues to it which works like a blush and bronzer and the sheen imparts that highlighted glow.

Texture – The texture is finally milled and easy to layer and build the colour without looking powdery. The sheen at some point may feel, will enhance pores but with good base it will show up nicely and wont enhance any flaws.

Pigmentation – The blush is decently pigmented and needs very light layering, it is easy to build and get the colour from a soft fluffy brush.

Staying power – The average staying power of NARS blush is somewhere between 7 – 8 hrs on my combination to oily skin and it fades very evenly after that.

Overall Thoughts

NARS Lovejoy Blush is super duper gorgeous; colour, pigmentation, texture and staying power… everything layer so perfectly. I highly recommend you to try this shade blindly as I did and don’t regret it at all. The only con I could think of is the availability of the brand; else there is nothing to complaint about.
