My Makeup & Outfit – Day 1 Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2017

I am not much of a Fashionista, and love to keep it less experimental and more comfortable. But when it comes to makeup I love trying out latest trends. Today was day 1 of Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2017 and I wore a comfortable semi formal kind of outfit paired with bold lips & brows. Let me show you close up of my makeup and details of the products used

Looking flawless and fab was on the top of my list , so I ordered a lot of makeup items from Amazon India. The website has a wide array of brands and almost all the products that come under beauty & makeup, listed there. I love how it is very convenient to shop from Amazon with super quick customer service and after sale service (returns/refunds). So lets breakdown the makeup look for you all –

I thought of playing with burgundy hues and kept the makeup around it only. For pictures I needed a flawless base so L.A. Girl Pro HD Foundation came handy. To conceal the under eye shadows and fatigue I applied a layer of L.A. Girl Pro HD Concealer. The concealer is pretty long lasting and offers medium coverage.

To set the under eye area I went for a thin layer of Colorbar Air Brush Finish Loose Powder which is my current fav setting powder. It is fine and yellow, hence brightens up the undereye area without looking cake-y.

Since my outfit was semi-formal, I skipped eyeliner and went for soft brown-burgundy eyes using Makeup Revolution I Heart Chocolate Eye Shadow Palette. Generous coats of mascara is a must and I went for my trusted Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara.

The theme was bold brows & lips so I defined my eye brows using L’Oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit, that has been my favourite eye brow product since ages. It has powder & wax in one small palette with a mirror and applicator. The shade is quite dark and stays put for a long time.

The blush I tried is a new one for me – NYX Ombre Blush Mauve Me, true to its name its a pretty mauve shade with hint of shimmer. To warn up the complexion I dusted a light layer of NYX matte Body Bronzer in Deep Tan.

To finish off the look NYX Liquid Suede Lipstick Vintage came handy. It has a beautiful moisturising formula that stays through the storm. I love the finish and that completed the look.

For the outfit I wore this white & black top from H&M and black trousers from Promod. Accessories were my watch from Marc Jacobs & ray ban sunnies. I wore black pointed toe flat sandals from Sam Edelman.

I loved the collection by The Handloom School supported by Goodearth. The subdued hues and beautiful stage/ ramp was spell binding. The show had designs by Akaaro, Antar-Agni, Eka, Neeru Kumar, Pero, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Nicobar, Rohit Bal, Urvashi Kaur, Sanjay Garg, Suket Dhir.
