MAC Club Eye Shadow Review Swatches Photos

MAC Club Eye shadow (1.5 gm, Price – 990/- INR, Available at MAC stores across India)

MAC have some amazing duo chrome shades which plays with light and base ; looks different when light hit and if used over colour base they look different . The shades which are really famous amongst these are – Expensive pink, Club, Vex, Motif and Stars n Rocket to name a few. I am going to review MAC Club which is one of their popular eyeshadows.

Shade – MAC CLUB is described as Red Brown with Green Pearl, the most difficult shade to described, it is warm toned rusty reddish brown shade with grey green pearly sheen shimmer to it, it looks more blue based at times and next moment it well look more green based and as you look again it starts to look more grey toned. The shade can be worn all alone or with darker base it looks even more intense.

Texture – The texture s buttery smooth , it is from MAC SATING finish which isn’t my favourite but still this shade is extremely creamy to use , easy to layer and build and doesn’t feel powdery at all . I find their SATIN finish is not always up to the mark and could be little patchy but this is an exception, it is very finally milled and feels like a melted butter.

Pigmentation – MAC Club needs a little layering but not something which you find is annoying at any point of time. It is semi opaque in one layer and a layer or two adds more evenness.

Staying power – The shadow with good primer stays easily for 7 – 8 hrs with very slight fading.

Overall Thoughts

MAC Club shadow is pure bliss , it is super gorgeous and the duo chrome is fun to play , looks amazing in different base and can be played in number of ways. The shade is very versatile to use and incorporate in looks and a must have from MAC.
