The shadow am sharing today is possibly one of the first few shades I picked from MAC as I was looking for a good contouring shade which can go with any shade on lids and brow bone and after few recommendations I picked this along with Espresso and Sketch which were nearly disastrous and ever since am stuck with MAC Soft Brown.

Shade – MAC SOFT BROWN is described as Soft golden peachy – brown, it is warm tone lightly peachy pink toned brown shade which almost matches my skin tone in every possible way. This may not be the best shade for someone above NC 45 but still a great colour to blend in harsh lines, I still recommend this to all skin tones in spite of the sheerness it has as the shade is foolproof and can be easily incorporated even from a novice point of view.
Texture – MAC SOFT BROWN comes from their matte finish which I adore along with Veluxe pearl and matte2, very creamy, easy to use, and buildable and blend able shade and the feel is very buttery.
Pigmentation – MAC SOFT BROWN may not be the best in terms of pigmentation but it is easy to build shade. It looks very even toned in single swipe; the more you layer the more intense it starts to look, hence can be used on skin tones easily and effortlessly.

Staying Power – I would repeat time and again, MAC shadows needs a good primer underneath to show the colour. I don’t mind that as it helps in creaseless application plus the colour doesn’t fade easily.
Overall Thoughts
This is possibly one of those shadows which I would give 10/5 . Such a wonderful shade on all skin tones and a shade which can be used on daily basis, even if you are not looking for something prominent. I lightly apply this in the crease to define them, mascara and a kajal and am good to go, so effortless it seems.
