I am not much into lip liners & glosses because I hardly get time to get a defined, precise application of color. But I love to keep some of my favorite lip liners ready so that I can make custom shades. Colorbar has some really good makeup products that I am hooked on to e.g. Perfect Match Foundation, Full Cover Stick Foundation & Just Smokey Kajal. I already had Clear Red Definer Lip Liner from the brand and always wanted to pick a few more. So during my recent trip to Colorbar store I picked a few more of them –

Colorbar Definer Lip Liners are quite long as compare to other available options in the market. The lip liner has a sharpener inside the cap, which is very convenient but it increases the length of the product and makes it difficult to store in regular size pouches :/

Shades – I have picked My Magents & Berry Rose. My Magenta is a pretty purple and would perfectly work with purple toned lipsticks that I have because sometimes a lip liner is the best option to get a neat application. Also there are certain shades that are lighter in shade and this lip liner, when blended darkens the tone. I pair it with NARS Silvia which is a bit light for my preference.

Berry Rose is such a pretty shade that it would look beautiful on its own. I love to blend it with my pink or purple or sometimes neutral lipsticks to add a hint of pink in them. It can be a perfect summer shade.

Texture & Formula – I really enjoy the texture of these lip liners. They are too creamy or waxy, just the right dry consistency. If you have very dry lips then these will tug, so moisturising them before hand is always recommended. This kind of formula always prevents lipsticks from feathering or bleeding. Also when worn on their own they give a nice matte finish. The formula doesn’t crumble while swatching or applying neither does the tip breaks.

Pigmentation – Colorbar Definer Lip Liners are quite pigmented and offer good color payoff in one stroke. You can also check out Summer Pink which is another pretty shade from this range.

Overall Thoughts

I will surely recommend Colorbar Definer Lip Liner – My Magenta & Berry Rose to all those who are looking for a good quality lip liner that can last ages ! The packaging is quite travel friendly because of the sharpener hidden inside the cap.
