How many black eyeliners, pencils or kajal you have? I have numerous, purely because I use black most of the times. These days I like to smoke out my kajal a bit, as due to scarcity of time this is the best I can do while going to a party or event. Infact I have done the same in my Recent Video as well 🙂

Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal gets you Glam ready in just 50 seconds. This long-lasting, multi-tasking eye pencil gives you 3-in-1 benefits of an Eyeliner, Kajal and an Eye Shadow. It helps you to achieve the mysterious smoky-eyed look which will last for up to 12 hours. It comes with a built-in smudger that is as soft as a cushion which can be used to demystify the art of smoky eyes. The intense color and matte texture of the pencil adds definition and drama to your eyes. It has waterproof property and does not transfer

After a few strokes of the soft liner along your top and bottom lashes, use the sponge smudger to blend out the color to the desired level of strength for the perfect smoky eye look.

Colorbar Just Smokey Kajal Review Swatches Photos (3)Shade – To get most use out of such an expensive Kajal I decided to pick shade in Just Black 001. Its a matte black color, quite intense I must admit. I like intense black only also when I smudge it out it doesn’t disappear , but looks pretty sultry. Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal comes in the form of a wooden pencil that needs to be sharpened. It has a smudger at the other end. Both sides have black plastic caps. It does remind me of Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye Kajal Liner

Texture & Formula – Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal is meant to be used as a smoky kajal/liner. It has a wonderful buttery smooth formula that glides on effortlessly. I need two strokes to get a deep black line on my lash line, than I smudge it slightly using the smudger tip. The downside of such a creamy formula is that tip tends to break while sharpening. So even if you sharp it, don’t try to get a pointy tip, it would break immediately. Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal Just Black 001 Review Swatches Photos (1)Pigmentation – Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal is quite pigmented. I have swiped it once for the above swatch.

Staying Power – Just Black stays on my waterline for good 4 hours fading gradually. On top lashline, it stays on for good 8+ hours with minimal fading. It doesn’t transfer to lids or moves around. Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal Just Black 001 Review Swatches Photos

Overall Thoughts

I am quite pleased with the texture, formula and staying power of Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal. It works wonderfully as a smokey liner and stays on for a long time. Only downside is the price which is a bit too steep for a drugstore product.

Nice Review Shalini, I see its quite pigmented in the swatch but Can you tell is it a budget option for the Lakme Absolute Kohl.. Is the pigmentation comparable… Thinking to buy this instead of the absolute one
