Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick Warm Beige Review

I don’t buy foundations regularly because they aren’t a part of my everyday makeup routine. I use foundations only for special occasions or filming makeup looks for my YouTube channel. Though I came across Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick Warm Beige during one of my recent trips to Colorbar counter. I wanted to buy a concealer which is quite creamy in texture for my undereye area and the sales executive recommended this foundation which can work as a good concealer as well.

I always wanted to try this foundation but never picked it online because of the shade confusion. I have used and loved Colorbar Perfect Match Foundation and warm beige was a perfect match for me. This time I was matched again to warm being and the tone matched me perfectly.

The foundation comes in a silver twist up tube. Stick foundation is pretty easy to apply and travel with. The texture is quite creamy and perfect for my dry skin. However if I concentrate only on the under eye area the product has to be set with a loose powder so that it doesn’t crease or move. I really like how it doesn’t emphasis fine lines or wrinkles under the eyes which a lot of concealers tend to to. Also The formula is quite creamy , which was surprising, it was very easy to blend and offered a good light-medium coverage.

Brand has named it Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick  which I don’t think is true. It offers light to medium coverage and if you have dark spots an additional concealer would be require. The finish is slightly dewy and doesn’t feel oily or greasy.

The major challenge I face with affordable foundations is that they are either yellow or pink toned. I can get along with yellow tone but beige suits me the best. Shade Warm Beige is the best it can get in shade match department. The shade blends into the skin and doesn’t look like makeup. I always prefer medium coverage foundations and specially during summers when my skin is already sweaty and oily on T-Zone.

Another good thing about this foundation is that it comes with SPF 30, which means no more layering of sunscreen is required under makeup. On me this foundation stays on for good 5 hours. I have to set my face with powder otherwise it feels sticky the whole time.

You can use a foundation brush for a heavier coverage and Makeup Sponge for a lighter coverage. I have done a first impressions/ demo video on Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick Warm Beige. You can watch it below.

Overall Thoughts

If you are looking for a light – medium coverage foundation for dry skin then do give Colorbar Full Cover Makeup Stick a try. The stick is easy to use & blend and the finish is quite natural. Also it comes with spf 30 which is an additional benefit for summers. If you apply it just under the eyes then make sure to set it with a loose powder so that the formula doesn’t crease. The only downside is the limited availability of shades.
