5 Affordable Foundations For Combination Oily skin

I have tried many foundations ranging from Budget to High-end foundation. There are many options available in both the ranges for natural, dewy as well as for full coverage. Here, I have listed 5 foundations that suit my Combination/Oily skin from Drugstore brands that are great in terms of formula, finish and other aspects.

Elle 18 Glow Foundation (Rs.150 for 30gms)-I got the shade Shell which is 2 tones darker for me. It has more of orange tones. For me, Marble would have been a good choice.The consistency of this foundation is medium and blends easily into skin. The foundation provides a matte finish but it doesn’t dry out my skin. It feels light weight and very comfortable on skin. The foundation provides light coverage which even out the skin and minor redness but major blemishes and scars need concealing. The staying power is around 5-6 hours.

Maybelline Dream Mousse Liquid Foundation (Rs 625 for 30ml)-  The shade nude Light 4 is a great match for my NC 35-37 skin tone.The foundation has thick consistency but it blends really well without leaving any streaky lines. It provides medium to full coverage.  The finish is semi-matte .It photographs really well. The foundation wears for about 5-6 hours after which I need to blot my face.

MUA Fashionista Ready-to-Wear Luminous Foundation (£12.00 for 40ml) –I got the shade Golden Beige. It has yellow undertones and is great for nc 35-37 skin tone.The texture of the foundation is very satiny. It is slightly thick in consistency but blends well. There is no shimmer in the foundation. The foundation provides a gorgeous flawless finish which is dewy. I have combination-oily skin but it doesn’t make my face look oily. Just the right amount of dewiness needed. However, it will look beautiful on any skin. It stays for about 7-8 hours on my face.

Oriflame Beauty Matte Control Foundation (Rs 499 for 30ml) – The shade is a great match for my skin. It has yellow undertones.The texture of the foundation is smooth. It is slightly thick but blends well and sinks into the skin without leaving any patches behind. It is lightweight and very comfortable on skin. The foundation settles to a matte finish. It provides light to medium coverage while evening out my face and brightening it. The matte effect stays for about 2-3 hours on my face after while I can see my T-zone shiny. It never broke me out neither does it clog pores.

Revlon Colorstay Whipped Crème Makeup Foundation (Rs 800 for 30ml) – The shade Natural Ochre in Revlon Colorstay Whipped Crème Makeup which is a tad bit lighter for my NC 35-37 skin tone but it adjusts in a while. The shade has yellow undertones which exactly suits my tone.The texture of the foundation is thick. It isn’t mousse like but identical to whipped crème. However, it isn’t heavy or cakes up when applied extra. It provides matte finish when applied with soon settles to semi-dewy finish. It is ideal for all skin types. However, sometimes it can emphasize dry patchy skin. It can be used for sheer/natural coverage as well as for near to full coverage. I have worn this foundation for maximum 10+ hours and it looked beautiful all throughout.
