I have always loved Revlon for its wide range of products and bases.This foundation is a best I have tried from Revlon.

Shade – I chose the shade Natural Ochre in Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup which is a tad bit lighter for my nc35-37 skin tone but it adjusts in a while. The shade has yellow undertones which exactly suits my tone.

Packaging – Thought he packaging is classy and but it is very bulky, the glass jar is prone to breakage and moreover I find it a bit unhygienic as there is no pump or dispenser and I have to take out the foundation with fingers. The shade name and number is provided on the lid. The jar contains a soft plastic insert inside to prevent the packaging from getting messy.

Texture & Formula – The texture of the foundation is thick. It isn’t mousse like but identical to whipped crème. However, it isn’t heavy or cakes up when applied extra. The formula is hydrating and it did break me out when I applied it the very first time as I have combination-oily skin. However, it doesn’t break me out anymore. It is light weight and blends extremely easily into the skin without leaving any patchiness behind. It has very mild fragrance that disappears within seconds of application.

Revlon Colorstay whipped crème makeup foundation provides matte finish when applied with soon settles to semi-dewy finish. It is ideal for all skin types. However, sometimes it can emphasize dry patchy skin.

Pigmentation/Coverage- Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup foundation can be used for sheer/natural coverage as well as for near to full coverage.It hides minor blemishes, redness easily and evens out the skin perfectly.

Staying Power- I have worn this foundation for maximum 10+ hours and it looked beautiful all throughout. It does oxidize a bit but does not fade out. My T-zone gets oily after around 6 hours of wear.

Overall Thoughts

I am highly impressed by Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Makeup Foundation. Though the packaging is bulky and a bit inconvenient to store and travel with, the formula is amazing and it photographs really well like airbrushed look. It provides sheer to almost full coverage with semi-dewy finish. I apply a setting powder to remove extra shine. The wear time is absolutely fantastic and so is the comfort.
