Marc Jacobs beauty was supposed to launch in India last october however I haven’t heard about its launch yet. In dubai this line is expensive however I picked two products from this line – a blush & Marc Jacobs Seduce Me Lovemarc Lip Gel. I went for my favorite shade – deep berry .

Packaging – Marc Jacobs Lovemarc Lip Gel comes in a sleek black case with Marc Jacobs etched on the magnetic cap. I really liked how luxe it looks.
Shade – Seduce Me is a beautiful deep berry color with red tones. It makes it deeper than MAC Rebel and quite close to Lancome Rouge In Love Rose Sulfureuse . Berry & Plum tones are my favorite and they compliment my skintone.
Texture & Formula – True to brand’s claims Marc Jacobs Seduce Me has a gel texture that glides on the lips beautifully. The formula is hydrating and gives an illusion of plumper lips due to glossy finish. The color doesn’t settle in fine lines and fades evenly.
However due to its slippery texture some color bleeds out of lip lines and looks unpleasant, which I find bothersome. So I can’t wear it without a good lip liner, an unnecessary step for me since I am swipe & go kind of person. Blotting lips helps most of the times, as it gets rid of any excess product.

Pigmentation – Seduce Me is superbly pigmented and all I need is one swipe. The color spreads evenly even with one layer and one can build the intensity with multiple layers.
Staying Power – On me this shade stays on for good 5+ hours with fading after meals.

Overall Thoughts
Marc Jacobs Seduce Me has the perfect hydrating formula that feels light weight and keeps lips soft throughout the wear. Shade is quite pigmented and looks amazing on my medium-deep skintone. Also Formula doesn’t have shimmer and the finish is semi-glossy. It does give an illusion of fuller lips because of the gel like texture.
