MAC Cream color bases are cream products that can be used on the eyes, lips and cheeks. They come in pretty colors and I am reviewing a beautiful bridal shade called “ MAC Improper Copper”.
Packaging – MAC Improper Copper Cream Color Base comes in a round transparent plastic case. If you have more than one, it is easy to spot the one you need. The shade name is specified at the back.
Shade – Improper Copper is a true beautiful copper color with a hint of rose in it. It suits medium to deep complexion really well and gives that beautiful bronzey glow. I love using it on the cheekbones. Also check out MAC hush Cream Colour Base
Texture & Formula – It is very light weight and non sticky as well. It blends very easily. Fingers are the best to use with this. A small stippling brush could also be used. With fingers, you will end up taking very less product and that’s a great advantage.
Pigmentation – It is highly pigmented and just one swipe and few dots on the cheekbones is enough to add that beautiful glow. It’s a must have for bridal makeup artists and also for brides to be.
Staying Power – It stays on my skin for 4-5 hours prominently. It has a beautfiful sheen and no glitter or sparkle. Though it is creamy, it sets to a satiny finish. You can either top it off with a highlighter of same color to extend the staying power or leave it as it is.
I have also tried applying it on top of powder highlighters and it looks even better.

Overall Thoughts
MAC Improper Copper Cream colorbase is a lovely bronze shaded cream blush/highlighter that is a must have for brides to be.
