Versatile and multi-purpose, Cream Colour Base can be applied directly to bare skin, or layered over foundation, moisturizer, or powder. Apply with a brush, sponge, or fingers. Colour effects range from a light veil to highly dramatic, depending on method of application. Fragrance-free. Shade – Hush is a peachy-champagne color. It has a frosty finish. This shade will suit Indian skin tones very well. Even though its Frosty in nature, it doesn’t turn ashy on me, though It wouldn’t go with medium to dark complexions.

Texture & Formula – Texture of Hush is creamy. It glides on skin smoothly and blends quickly. Best part is that it doesn’t have chunky shimmer and gives that natural glowy look. It applies well and doesn’t turn patchy. Its a blessing for my dry skin which otherwise looks quite flat after makeup.It goes on sheer and gives you full control during application. You can layer it up for dramatic highlighting or apply sheer for natural glowing look. I apply it on cheekbones, brow bone and bridge of my nose. It gives that healthy dewy look.

Staying power is good. It stays on me for good 7+ hours and then fades away.

That’s how it looks on me. On left I am wearing a matte blush on the right used Hush on cheekbonesSo far I am really loving Hush and use it primarily as a highlighter. Though one can use them as cream eyeshadow or under foundation. I prefer this more than the two powder highlighters I have (Sleek Contour Kit & Two faced Candlelight Duo)

On eyelids it creases in 2-3 hours without a base and also due to its sheer texture it doesn’t camouflage dark lids.

Overall Thoughts

If you have been looking for a good highlighter, this is it. You wouldn’t need much so this product will last forever. I am using it day and night and love how it doesn’t look greasy or oily and stays put for hours. I will highly recommend “MAC Cream Colour Base” to you all.
