Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation Review Price Photos

Kryolan makes amazing products and I have always been a big fan of this brand. I found another gem and am here to review that. Liquid Highlighters are a must have for makeup artists and with every brand having their own liquid highlighters, I chose Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation the moment I tried it in the store.

Packaging – Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation comes in a very tall transparent plastic bottle with a pump. It dispenses the right amount of product and the cap shuts tightly.

Shade – It comes in 3 shades – Golde, Golden Beige and Pearl. I picked up Gold as it is a beautiful golden bronze color that complients deep Indian skin very well. It can also be toned down by mixing with a foundation.

Texture & Formula – It is not a runny liquid and neither too thick. It is easy to apply and blend. As a highlighter, I just dot it over the cheekbones and bridge of the nose and tap with my fingers or blend with a small brush. I also use a beauty blender sometimes but sponges usually suck the product and this one is pretty expensive.

Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation feels a little bit oily so I would not suggest it for those with open pores or very oily skin. However, if you top it off with a powder highlighter, that issue is solved.

Staying Power – I have used it as a highlighter and also mixed with a foundation for an over all glow. It gives radiance to the face like no other product. The shade Golden is my favorite and I would call a must have for Indians.

It stays for 4-5 hours on my normal skin.

Overall Thoughts:

I wish Kryolan Shimmering Event Foundation came in a smaller bottle at lesser price. This huge bottle will never get over. However, I am totally loving using it and highly recommend it for those special events.
