MAC Chilled Fluidline Eye Liner Gel (Rs 1100 for 0.10 oz) 

I already have Its Physical Fluidline from the same collection and love it so much.

Shade- Chilled is described as a “frosted white gold [with a Pearl finish].It has some large shimmer; almost glitter gold particles that can be felt while applying the fluid line.  It’s a cool-toned white with a pale gold frosted sheen.

Packaging- The packaging is similar to MAC permanent line fluid lines having a small, heavy base glass jar with a black screw cap. The packaging is definitely sturdy and travel friendly. The shade name and finish is provided below the packaging. No brush is provided.

Texture & Formula- The texture of the MAC Chilled Fluidline is smooth but not the smoothest as the glitter particles can be felt on application. The formula is creamy and applies easily on lids. I generally use this as a base shadow as the pale gold effect looks really pretty on lids. However, it can be used as a liner and for highlighting inner corners of the eye.

The finish is metallic and looks really pretty. The shade is a great option for romantic eye makeup looks where you need minimal makeup. Also, this fluid line cannot be used as a base for powder shadows as the shadows start to crumble up if applied over this. It applies quickly and dries up fast on the lids.

Pigmentation- MAC Chilled Fluidline provides sheer to medium level of pigmentation in a single swipe which can be built up to semi-opaque coverage. However, too much layering of the shade forms streaks which are quite difficult to work on.

Staying Power- The fluid line stays throughout the wear time but I can see some shimmer particles falling in my under eye area after 5-6 hours. I performs really well when used as an eye liner and can be creaseless when applied over a primer.

Overall Thoughts

MAC Chilled Fluidline is definitely a must have for those who like shimmery, glittery looks. This fluid line does have a little bit of fallout when it dries completely but it’s not major. I like to use this shade more as an eye shadow. I usually use the powder shadows in the crease when I use this on lids as the fluid line doesn’t blend with the powder shades. The staying power and overall performance is great.
