Nivea has recently launched 3 affordable hand creams in their Deep Restore Active range. My today’s review is about Nivea Indulging Hand Cream with Glycerin & Beeswax.
The skin of our hands get dry and rough very easily as we tend to do a lot of skin damaging streneous things with our hands on a day-to-day basis. Our hands get exposed to environmental damages, harsh chemical hand washes and sanitizing liquids. We often invest lots of time and money on our facial skin care but forget caring for our hands cvompletely.
That results in wrinkles, dullness and premature aging issues of hand skin. Hand creams are one of the best skin care investments for our hands. They nourish the dried hand skin and make it soft again. It is a good habit to use any kind of hand moisturizer immediately after washing hands.

Packaging: This handcream comes in a white plastic squeeze tube with screw cap. The pack mentions ingredient list in detail which I find quite useful. The packaging is very simple yet sturdy. This tube can fit easily in travel-bags. The packaging is leak-proof and user-friendly. It would have been great if they provided flip-top cap because I often lose screw cap lids!
Colour& Consistency: This is a thick cream of pure white colour. The formula is quite moisturizing yet it gets absobed quickly. Unless I apply too much, it stays non-greasy. This handcream does not contain added colour and parabens.
Fragrance: Nivea Indulging Hand Cream has a very soothing sweet fragrance. It is not strong and lingers only for 10-15 minutes. I love nice smelling hands so the fragrance is a bonus for me.
Quantity & Price: This hand cream comes at Rs.90 for 75gm. This one is currently the cheapest handcream available in India. Seeing the ingredients and quality of the product, I can definitely say this one is a value for money product.
My Overall Thoughts:
My hand skin is on the dry side. In winter, it turns dehydrated. That is why, hands creams are a must for me in winter. Hand creams are generally available in tubes of 30ml.
I go over them quickly so I often have to use thicker baby creams or lotions as my hand moisturizer. Nivea Indulging Hand Cream was an welcome change to my go-to hand creams.
This one looks thick but it takes just a minute or so to get absorbed into the skin. I don’t like hand creams that feel greasy and makes me leave finger-prints everywhere. Thankfully, this was not among those.
I love how it soothes the dry stretchy feel instantly. I have tried hand creams from various popular brands like The Face Shop and The Body Shop. This Nivea one had similar effects on my dry hands.
