Simple Cleansing Micellar Water Review Price Photos

I never understood the importance of Micellar water until I used them myself. My first was Vichy Purete Thermale Cleansing Micellar Lotion which was really good. Then I tried Bioderma Sensibio H20, and once it got over I started looking out for a new one to try. I wanted to try Simple Skincare products , but this brand isn’t available in India and can only be purchased online via amazon or ASOS. Simple Cleansing Micellar Water is quite known and loved product internationally.

Simple skincare is formulated for sensitive skin. Micellar Cleansing water was my saviour during winters. I have mentioned it before as well that I wash my face twice a day with a face wash, but cold weather made it a challenge for me and I started using Micellar water in the evening to get rid of dirt/grime and clean the skin’s surface without using soap. It also prevented dryness in my case.

Micellar water works as a cleanser but without the need of water. Its a perfect product to use on the go or while travelling. Simple Cleansing Micellar Water is quite good at removing dirt, makeup and oil from the face without making it dry or parched. It doesn’t have color or fragrance.

As far as the makeup removal part is concerned It can remove waterproof makeup as well, however I don’t use it as a makeup remover. This is the last step in my cleansing routine. After removing makeup and washing off the residue with cleanser I use Simple Cleansing Micellar Water on a cotton round and gently sweep it across face & neck. I have observed that even after using makeup remover and cleanser, it removes traces of makeup which remains trapped in the pores or creases/ corners of face. My skin is acne prone and even a small trace of dirt breaks it out, so using this micellar water as a final step makes sure that the skin is squeaky clean without ripping off the moisture.

Overall Thoughts

Simple Cleansing Micellar Water is a great product that not only cleans the face without drying it but also takes off makeup. I use it for eye makeup removal as it doesn’t sting and breaks down makeup quickly. It is gentle and suitable for sensitive skin. Availability is an issue though.
