Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution (2)

Sometime back I reviewed Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellair Solution and how much I liked the concept of Micellaire solutions. Those who don’t wear much makeup daily or only water based makeup, Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution can be a good choice to break down all makeup, dirt and oil from face without ripping off moisture from the skin. If I wear makeup during the day that is not so long lasting I prefer using Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution to take off all the makeup from my face and then follow up with regular cleanser and toner to get rid of any makeup residue. However there is no need of rinsing it off, its just I prefer cleaning my face thoroughly during the night.

Vichy Purete Thermale 3 in 1 Calming Cleansing Solution with Micelle Technology to effectively remove make-up and impurities, yet ultra-gentle on the skin. Ideal for all types of skin, even the most sensitive.

I also like to keep it handy while travelling so that I can get rid of all oil & dirt from my face on the go. I dab some Micellaire water on a cotton round and wipe my face with it. I can definitely see all the dirt and grime on the cotton.

Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution feels just like water with no scent to it. It doesn’t irritate my skin or eyes in any case. I always remove my kohl or eyeliner with Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution since it doesn’t sting my eyes. The solution doesn’t feel greasy or oily and that’s what makes it good for acne prone skin.

I only use makeup removers on waterproof eye makeup otherwise on everything else Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution works very well. I will always prefer Vichy over Bioderma purely because its easily accessible and widely available.

Overall Thoughts

If you wear minimal non-waterproof makeup daily, Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution will be an excellent choice to remove makeup at the end of the day. It makes skin neither dry nor greasy. I can feel the freshness and see how clean my face looks after using it. I skip using cleanser and rinse off my face using plain water on those days when I don’t wear any/much makeup. One can keep Vichy Purete Thermale Micellar Solution for travel also, since you don’t have to rinse it off. One bottle lasts a long time.
