A bit about the product –

There are some products that create so much spur in the market that everyone wants to get hold of them. I have been watching youtube for sometime now and lots of beauty gurus swear by the efficacy of Bioderma Sensibio H2O. Its not available on any other online site in India other than Nykaa at this moment, so I had to get one for me before it go out of stock again.  I decided to pick the smaller size to test it.

I have been using Bioderma Sensibio H2O for sometime now and here is what I have experienced –

Bioderma Sensibio H2O is a micellaire solution that rips off dirt and makeup from face without causing any irritation or dryness. I have been using it every night using a cotton round. Bioderma Sensibio H2O has to be used like any other makeup remover however the process isn’t as quick as using a makeup remover/ cleanser would be. But than it doesn’t cause any irritation to eyes nor does it leave any sticky greasy residue. There is no need of washing face with water or anything after using Bioderma Sensibio H2O micellar solution, face feels fresh and clean.

The solution is fragrance free & soap free. I think this can come really handy while one is travelling or in colder climates where people don’t want to splash their face with water every now and then. Its ph balanced so it wouldn’t make skin dry after each use. These days when its quite cold at night I always reach out for Bioderma Sensibio H2O for cleaning my face and follow with Vichy Toner. I have acne and congestion prone skin, and this solution has never caused any break out.

For me it worked as a makeup remover however please remember that I don’t any waterproof makeup, however it easily cleans long wearing makeup products like Colrbar i-glide pencil that I use as kohl, maybelline gel liner and any other staining lip product.

Only downside is Price, I find it little expensive and best idea would be buying the 250 ml size since it would be more cost effective. Also I can’t really comment as to how effective it would be in removing water-proof makeup.

Overall Thoughts

I really like Bioderma Sensibio H2O  as a cleansing water and use it daily at night. It easily removes dirt and makeup from skin and leaves it feeling and looking fresh, without any sticky residue. This product can be excellent for those who travel a lot or those who have very sensitive skin & Eyes. The solution doesn’t feel or leave any greasiness so it would be good for oily skin or  acne prone skin too. I might purchase the bigger bottle next.
