Some makeup products rise to the level of “must haves” or “Iconic” because of their quality & value for money. Revlon Super Lustrous isn’t a new range, it has been around for years , its just that I have recently discovered my love for their formula after trying Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Berry Couture & Grape Juice. So I decided to pick famous shades from the range to see what the fuss is about.
Shade – Kiss Me Coral is a beautiful Coral lipstick. I am not much a coral fan and only wear coral is blushes. Shade is so pretty that I have worn it couple of times and it compliments my skintone. I always dab it with a tissue to get excess color off and make it more like a stain. It works well for me that way.
Texture & Formula – Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks come in number of formulas – Frost, shine, creme. Kiss Me Coral is Creme finish, which means it is opaque and non-drying. Formula is very creamy and glides on like butter. Finish is creamy and not glossy, once you dab it with a tissue, rest of the creaminess goes away too. Revlon Kiss Me Coral doesn’t have any shimmer in it.
Pigmentation – Revlon Kiss Me Coral is very pigmented. The swatch in the picture above is single swipe of lipstick. It covers darkness or pigmentation really well.
Staying Power – On me, it stays on for 5+ hours. My lips feel comfortable through out and even when the formula wears off.
Overall Thoughts
Revlon Kiss Me Coral is a must have shade for all coral lovers. Formula is smooth & buttery with cream finish. Its very pigmented and hides any discoloration that lips might have. Staying power is good and it stays on for good 5-6 hours. I am so pleased with the quality and its one of the best budget products available in indian market.
