I love wearing plummy pink shades as they compliment my skintone. There are days when I don’t want to wear any bright shade I wear either nude or plummy pink lipsticks.

Shade – Revlon Grape Juice Super Lustrous Lipstick is a plum pink color. It looked pretty close to Shiseido Rouge Lipstick RS745 & MAC Amorous in first glance but Grape Juice has more pink in it. Its my go to color these days ! Color would look good on all complexions specially medium to deeper skintones.

Texture & Formula – I didn’t see “Frost” written on the label or else I wouldn’t have dared to pick this shade. Revlon Grape Juice Super Lustrous Lipstick is a creamy formula. It glides on lips without tugging or pulling. Grape Juice has a creamy finish with no sign of frost at all. Formula is moisturizing and keeps my lips soft through out the wear. It doesn’t settle or highlight my lip wrinkles.

Pigmentation – Revlon Grape Juice Super Lustrous Lipstick gives opaque coverage in 2-3 coats. I generally wear it as a stain during the day. Formula covers pigmented lips really well.

Staying Power – Being a creamy formula Revlon Grape Juice Super Lustrous Lipstick stays on for 3-4 hours, after that it starts wearing off unevenly. It doesn’t leave stain behind.

Negative points would be low staying power and uneven fading. It stays intact until you eat something, but then that’s a problem with all creamy formulas.

Overall Thoughts

I really liked formula, color and finish of Revlon Grape Juice Super Lustrous Lipstick. This can be a everyday shade for working women. Formula keeps lips moisturized and doesn’t settle in fine lines or highlight dryness. Finish is glossy that fades after sometime. Only downside is its low staying power. One needs to reapply after meals.
