I have always had good results from Lakme’s Blush & Glow fruit based face cleansers. They are mild enough for my combination skin and do not dry out my face. Lakme’s Blush & Glow range is not a new collection in the market. They are producing bestseller face cleansers for many years now.

Earlier, they had only strawberry, lemon and peach variants. In the past couple of years, they have added some new variants to their range. This Kiwi Crush one is also among the newer additions. I always go for the strawberry variant of this range because I love strawberries. But, this time it is the turn for Kiwi Crush. Let’s dig deeper into Lakme Blush & Glow Face Wash Kiwi Crush.Lakme Blush & Glow Face Wash Kiwi Crush Review Price Photos

About Lakme Blush & Glow Face Wash Kiwi Crush

Use the Lakme Blush and Glow Kiwi Gel Face Wash to give your skin a gorgeous fruit-kissed glow, every day. This refreshing gel face wash packs a fruity delight that helps in washing impurities. Imagine a fruity splash of delight every time you washed your face – that’s exactly how refreshing this feels.

Enriched with goodness of rich kiwi extracts, it gives a burst of fruity freshness with every use. The face wash has fruit anti-oxidants and beads that cleanse your skin washing away dirt and other impurities.

Packaging: This face wash comes in a transparent plastic tube with white flip-open cap. The bright green tube looks cute in your washroom vanity. The clear packaging lets you see how much product is there in the tube.

The tube has a plastic flap glued to its body. This flap contains all the informative details and the front label graphics. The packaging is sturdy and travel safe. It has complete ingredients detail mentioned as well.

Colour & Consistency: Just like the packaging, Lakme’s Blush & Glow Face Wash Kiwi Crush too has the same pale green colour. It’s a gel based face cleanser containing tiny wash cum scrub granules of blue-black colour.

The consistency is slightly thick considering other gel based face washes we generally see in the market. Naturally, less product is required for each use. The face cleanser does contain sulphate but it does not have parabens.

Fragrance: This face wash has a mixture of kiwi and cool aqua fragrance. The combination seems quite unique. If you love exotic fragrances or are not a floral fragrance lover, this one would definitely suit your palate.

Coming to the strength of fragrance, it has moderately strong fragrance. You can sniff the fragrance even from the body of the face wash tube. However, the smell becomes almost non-existent once you wash it off from the face.

Quantity & Price: Lakme Blush & Glow Face Wash Kiwi Crush is priced at Rs.225 for 100gm. You won’t have to buy it at full price though. This one comes at good discounts oftentimes. It has a smaller travel friendly variant of 50gm which costs Rs.115.

My Overall Thoughts

I don’t know about you, but face cleansers are synonymous to freshness to me. I like mild gel based cleansers with pH balanced formula. Many of us do not know the importance of using skin care products, specially the cleansers, with correct range of pH. Cleansers that are too acidic or alkaline degrade the natural protective barrier of our skin.

Eventually, the skin gets flaky dry at some areas while the other parts of the skin become excessively oily. I have never had this issue with Lakme face washes and this Kiwi Crush face wash is not an exception as well. This face wash does not foam much. But, it does clean the superficial impurities like excess oil, dirt and even non-waterproof makeup.

This wash has a slight cooling feel. It freshens up the senses after a tiring day. It also helps to charge up my mood in the morning. It is not something that would clear your acne or fade old acne marks. It is just a basic face cleanser to get rid of gunk form the skin. Apart from the presence of sulphate, this is a good daily face cleanser for oily, combination, and even moderately dry skin.
