Lakme has recently launched one of the in-trend formulas – Absolute Lip Pout Matte Lip Tint, this time in the form of lip crayon. I was so excited that couldn’t wait for these to launch in stores and ordered online. I picked three shades and might pick more soon.
Lakme Absolute Lip Pout Matte Lip Tint (Rs 650) available at Flipkart
Packaging reminds me of Tarte Lip Surgence, silver cap with colored body. The best part is that if you buy more than 1 shade, identifying them would be pretty easy, since the outer color matches with the color of the lipstick inside. I am a fan of crayon packaging, its cuter and convenient than conventional lipsticks. These are twist up crayons, so no sharpening is required.
Shades – I have Lakme Absolute Lip Tint Matte Victorian Rose which is a beautiful coral, its not bright or else I wouldn’t have picked it at all. Next is Pink Fantasy – A beautiful berry pink, absolutely stunning on my skintone, this shad would look good on everyone. Raving Red is a warm toned red, a beautiful shade that compliments Indian skintones. Raving Red looks pretty similar to Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil 21. 
Texture & Formula – The formula is one of my absolute favorites – Velvet Matte. I am completely in love with the finish, they look smooth on lips. I was expecting them to be on the drier side, however to my surprise Lakme Absolute Lip Pout Matte Lip Tint glide on smoothly whether I apply a lip balm or not. I have numerous fine lines on my lips, and thankfully none of the shades accentuate them. I always make sure to exfoliate my lips beforehand, so that they don’t look gross at the end of the day, since matte formulas are known to suck the life out of your lips after couple of hours.
Pigmentation – All the three shades are nicely pigmented. However I do need couple of swipes to get even color on the lips. My favorite is Pink Fantasy which is the sheerest of all the three.

Raving Red
Staying Power – Lakme Absolute Lip Pout Matte Lip Tint stays on for good 6-7 hours on me with minimal fading. The color starts fading from the centre of my lips first.
Only downside is the fragility of the product, Pink Fantasy has already broken from its base and I am hoping rest two don’t follow the suit.

Overall Thoughts
I am really impressed with the formula, texture, color payoff and staying power of Lakme Absolute Lip Pout Matte Lip Tints. All the three shades look beautiful on my medium-deep skintone.
