Texture & Formula – The texture of the Gerard Cosmetics Cher Hydra Matte Lipstick is amazing and the most comfortable of liquid mattes that I have used till date. It is easy to apply. The lipstick settles to a matte finish quickly. It doesn’t dry out my lips or settle in the lip lines but being matte; it does accentuate lip lines. The shade is devoid of any shimmer or sheen.The shade is a nice option for all skin tones as it will suit fair to dark skin tones easily. The shade adds warmth to my wheatish skin tone and brightens up the whole look. I like the sophisticated look that it imparts.

Pigmentation– Cher is amazingly pigmented and one swipe on each lip is enough for medium coverage. It can be built upto fuller coverage with another layer. It doesn’t form gloopy layer or build up around the corners of the lips on over application.

Staying Power – Now here is the best part, I have applied and kept this shade for about 10 hours and I was still there. The shade remains as it is even after drinking, eating, blabbering. It doesn’t dry out my lips which is the best thing.

I am highly impressed by the overall performance of Gerard Cosmetics Cher Hydra Matte Lipstick. It is light weight, comfortable to wear. The formula is great as it stays for a long time and doesn’t dry out my lips. Pigmentation is at par and the staying power is excellent.

I love the feel of the lipstick as it is creamy in application and goes on smoothly on lips. The shade will suit all skin tones and can be carried with many looks. It can be a go-to shade for office wear as well.
