For me perfect day moisturiser would be the one that offers sun protection as well. I have dry skin and since the season has changed , I can feel the changes in my skin. It looks drier than usual but that doesn’t mean I can pile on moisturisers on it. Apart from being dry it is acne prone as well and too much layering causes break outs. I have used the Vitamin E range from the body shop for years and the recent addition to it is Vitamin E Moisture Protect Emulsion. I have been trying it out for almost 6 weeks now and thought of sharing my views on it.
A lightweight, milky formula to moisturise and protect your skin against UVA and UVB damage.
- Locks in moisture for 48 hours of hydration, leaving skin feeling soft and smooth
- Antioxidant properties protects against free radicals
- Powered with Biofermented Hyaluronic Acid
Texture is quite runny, almost like a lotion. The formula is highly moisturizing, and you wouldn’t need reapplication throughout the day ! The fact that it offers broad spectrum sun protection, I love using it even more. For me it works as a moisturiser as well as a sunscreen. I hate layering products, and this one is a one step solution.
Now coming to the experience, thankfully it doesn’t leave a white cast on face. The formula is white in color and applies nicely. It doesn’t need too much work to get absorbed into the skin. I take around one and a half pump of The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Protect Emulsion and spread it on face & neck, massaging gently. It does make skin shiny but nothing a powder can’t fix.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Protect Emulsion hasn’t broken me out neither it feels heavy on the skin. However if you have oily skin then using lesser quantity might work best for you, or dab some powder to get rid of the shine.
Due to the presence of Hyaluronic acid, the moisturiser works amazingly without the need of any serum or oil underneath. It has a nice mild scent that doesn’t trouble. The tube itself is quite sturdy and the pump dispenses adequate amount of product each time.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Protect Emulsion SPF 30 PA++ is priced at Rs Rs 1495

I don’t think this Vitamin E range is good for my oily skin type..I’ll prefer sticking to tea tree oil range..Would recommend it to my friend though.. 🙂 🙂
