I am someone who spends more on skincare than makeup every month. I believe in investing in good skincare products. My skin has gone through a lot of changes and right now am totally in love with the Vitamin E Range from The Body Shop. I shall be reviewing The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser from this range today.
About The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser
A light, creamy cleanser with protective vitamin E and moisturising wheatgerm oil that effectively removes impurities and make-up. Leaves skin feeling clean, softer and more supple. Follow with Vitamin E Hydrating Toner, as part of your personalised skincare programme.

- Facial cream cleanser
- Light, creamy texture

It claims to suit all skin types but I would not suggest it if you have oily and very oily skin. It suits normal, combination and dry skin the best.
Vitamin E Range products come in a baby pink colored packaging which attracts me a lot. I bought this cleanser to use as a makeup remover for the face as I use a separate oil based makeup remover for the eyes and lips.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser is a baby pink creamy liquid that is supposed to be massaged on the skin and wipes off with a cotton pad. I would suggest washing your face with water after this. It contains wheat germ oil, soybean oil that can clog pores if left without rinsing. The cream has a pleasant fragrance and does not cause any tingling sensation in the skin.
I personally find it very effective in removing the face makeup and also lip products. I did try it on the eyes but unfortunately it is not that effective in removing eyemakeup.
I find it hydrating enough for my skin. I did not experience any break outs after using this. Comparing this with the Vitamin E Hydrating face wash, I would say the face wash is more effective and quicker in removing makeup and other impurities. I find this cleanser to be mild so if you have sensitive skin, you can opt for this.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser is priced Rs. 995
Overall Thoughts
Personallyy, I would not be repurchasing this as the face wash performs better and I shall stick to that. Packaging wise also, it is a little difficult to carry around as it does not come in a small sized bottle. For the price, I expected something more but performance wise, I found The Body Shop Vitamin E Cream Cleanser quite average that you can get from any cheaper brand.
