Testing Under The Sun : L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique Pressed Powder SPF 34 PA+++

When I saw L’Oreal launching this pressed powder, I was expecting the prices to be on higher side. However I was pleasantly surprise to know that L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique Pressed Powder costs only Rs 399. I have already posted a detailed review which you can check HERE.

So what makes it different than its counterparts? Well high SPF and ability to keep skin matte, for sometime. I have dry – combination skin which gets pretty shiny during hotter months. I decided to test it for its sun protection claims.

Delhi is hot & burning these days, but I can’t avoid going out, specially to pick my daughter from school, which is like 12:30 pm, when sun is shining bright over the head. Wearing a product with spf is something I can’t miss, and have been using L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique Pressed Powder for over a month now. So I decided to see if it prevents tanning or not . What did I do ? I applied the pressed powder on one arm and kept the other one bare. I don’t get tanned easily, and even If I do, the darkness fades away quickly. I wore 3/4 sleeves t-short hence the darkness is only visible almost around the wrist. My skin gets dull & dark immediately after the sun exposure, continuous exposure results into tanning, uneven skintone & dark spots, which I have dealt with in the past.

So I will highly recommend using a product with High SPF like L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique Pressed Powder SPF 34 PA+++, it protects you from UVA rays that cause premature aging also. Powder has a light mat texture, which is blendable & stays put for good 3+ hours on me. SPF 34 means protection for good 5.5 hours.
