Rimmel London Color Rush Balm comes in 5 colors. Like all other Lip Balm Stains, it also comes in crayon form, with a twist up packaging. I don’t remember which brand originated the idea of Lip Crayons but now every other brand is jumping in the crayon bandwagon. Though personally I like them.

Shade – I have purchased two shades from Rimmel London Color Rush Balm and today I am reviewing ‘The Redder The Better”. Its a beautiful deep tomato red color that looks amazing on warmer skintones. I totally love the color !

Texture & Formula – I find texture smooth and more balmy than anyother lip balm/stain I have tried so far. It feels slightly thick and gives opaque coverage in 2 swipes. Formula is moisturizing and feels really comfortable on lips. Throughout the wear it doesn’t make lips dry or highlights dry/flaky patches. Only after the balm wears off leaving stain, lips feel dry or uncomfortable. It gives a glossy finish but not too glossy like Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayon. It feels like a glossy lipstick, and that’s what I like the most about Rimmel London Color Rush Balm. Formula doesn’t settle in fine lines.

Pigmentation – It would say that pigmentation of Rimmel London Color Rush Balm The Redder The Better is medium to buildable. In two swipes it covers any discoloration or pigmentation lips may have.

Staying Power – Rimmel London Color Rush Balm The Redder The Better stays on for good 3-4 hours leaving a strong stain behind, that stays on for another 2 hours. One would feel the need of applying lip balm once the balm wears off.

Only Negative I could think of is “availability”. Rimmel London Color Rush Balm is only available online.

Overall Thoughts

I am highly impressed with the formula, pigmentation and comfort of Rimmel London Color Rush Balm. The Redder The Better is a beautiful shade of red and would look absolutely stunning on Indian Complexions. I would love to try more shades soon and hope that Rimmel Launches them in India Soon.
