Ever since MAC launched these very different makeup brushes, I was always curious as to how practical they would be. The came Artis makeup brushes, quite expensive & luxe, and many other brands followed the trend. Very recently PAC brushes also came up with Master Stroke brushes, that are quite an affordable version of Artis. They have an entire range launched, and I received two of the PAC Master Stroke Brushes – No 3 & No 5.
PAC Master Stroke Brushes come in chic cardboard boxes. The brushes have oval heads and broad grip area. Handles are made of plastic that have some flexibility.
03 , to me looked like a foundation brush. It is dome shaped, quite dense and soft. The shape & size is perfect for liquid / cream foundations. I think it can also be used for powder foundations, but I am yet to use these for that purpose.
The brush took some getting used to , as we are accustomed to the regular brushes. But it was a pleasant change as I thoroughly enjoyed the application process. The brush gives a  nice, smooth and streak free application. The brush sheers out foundation and blends it into the skin within seconds. I used it for under eye concealer application as well and it worked perfectly for that also.
05, is small oval brush. It is quite small and I assumed it is meant for under eye concealer. However this brush didn’t blend the product and move it around instead. It is quite stiff too. I guess I will be trying it for contouring.

Overall Thoughts
PAC Master Stroke Brushes are affordable alternative to expensive Oval brushes available internationally. Quality is good and I loved 03 which is perfect for quick application of foundation. I liked how it is dome shaped with very soft bristles that are quite dense. I have washed them already and none of the shed or bled . Also they have retained their shapes after drying completely.
