I love Avon lipstick, affordable and good quality product it is. You can see more Swatches Of Avon Ultra Color Lipstick here. I am reviewing two more shades from this range today that have slightly different formula.

Shade – Avon Ultra Color Lipstick in Rich Chocolate is a beautiful brown shade. It compliments my complexion. Wild Ginger on the other hand is a coral shade with red undertones.

Texture & Formula – Both Rich Chocolate & Wild Ginger have shimmers. Rich Chocolate has silver shimmers while Wild Ginger has golden red shimmers. I am not a fan of glitter lipsticks but believe me both the shades are awesome. Formula is creamy and quite moisturizing. Shimmers can be felt on lips however they aren’t gritty. Finish is quite shiny due to the shimmers.

Pigmentation – Avon Ultra Color Lipstick provides medium to buildable coverage. Both the shades cover lip discoloration completely.

Staying Power – Due to the creamy texture, formula tends to wear off in 4 hours. It doesn’t make my lips dry on uncomfortable even when its gone. None of the shades leave any tint or stain behind.

Overall Thoughts

I like Avon Ultra Color Lipstick Range, however shimmer is not my favorite thing in lip products. I prefer creamy or semi-matte finishes. I specially liked Rich Chocolate, color is very pretty and had it not been loaded with shimmers, it would have worked for working women as an everyday shade. Formula of these lipsticks is quite moisturizing and doesn’t settle in fine lines. Only issue is that when formula wears off it leave all the glitter behind, that doesn’t look pleasant.
