Avon has never failed to impress me with their lip products. They come up with affordable ranges with amazing color selection. I like the simple black  casing. Its sleek and looks good.

Shade – I am reviewing these 3 colors from Avon Ultra Color Lipstick. Hot Pink is a beautiful neon pink color that comes off slightly coral on lips. It looks bit scary in the bullet, but once applied the color looks beautiful. Hot Pink a beautiful bright pink lipstick with plum undertones. Oxford wine is , a true wine color. All 3 shades look amazing on medium complexion. I am sure these 3 would look good on all skintones. Another shade Twinkle Pink has been reviewed HERE

Texture & Formula – Avon Ultra Color Lipsticks have smooth buttery texture. All three shades glide on easily without tugging or pulling. Also I find them quite moisturizing, I have worn Avon Ultra Color Lipstick without lip balm and it works pretty well and doesn’t dry them out or highlights flaky skin on lips. None of the 3 shades have any shimmer or glitter. I find the texture of Oxford wine a bit slippery and its pretty deep color, so using a lip liner is always recommended. All 3 shades give glossy finish.

Pigmentation – Pigmentation varies in all the 3 shades. Avon Ultra Color Lipstick Oxford wine is the most pigmented and Hibiscus is the sheerest. Both Hot Pink & Oxford wine provide medium to full coverage, Hot Pink’s coverage can be compared to MAC’s Lustre finish. Infact I can compare these lipsticks to MAC’s lustre finish lipsticks.

Staying Power – Due to their creamy texture Avon Ultra Color Lipsticks stay on for 3-5 hours. All the 3 shades leave stain behind, intensity of the stain depends on the intensity of the color.

Overall Thoughts

Avon Ultra Color Lipsticks are one of the best creamy & glossy lipstick formulas in Indian Market. Their affordable prices and good color options rank them high in my list of favorite lipsticks. Formula is moisturizing and keep lips soft for a long time. However lips start feeling dry once the formula wears off.
