Milani Gorgerous Amore Matte Lip Creme Review Swatches Photos

There are a number of liquid lipsticks in the market currently and the recent one is Milani Gorgerous Amore Matte Lip Creme. The range is so hyped that I had to pick one shade just to see how amazing the formula is. I got this shade from an Instagram seller however the brand is now available on nykaa as well. After using the shade for couple of times here are my thoughts –

Packaging – Milani Gorgerous Amore Matte Lip Creme comes in a plastic tube with golden cap. The tube is see through. The applicator is flat and quite saturated with formula.

Shade – I liked the shade Gorgeous a lot, its a deep berry shade. The color would suit all skintones.

Texture & Formula – The formula of the one I have is quite thick. It glides on smoothly and gives even application in one coat. I personally avoid wearing matte liquid lipsticks because they tend to dry out my lips a lot. The texture of Milani Gorgerous Amore Matte Lip Creme is dry & thick, you can feel it setting on the lips. After a while the formula turns patchy and starts peeling off.

I have never experienced and seen such a horrible formula ever. It looks ugly and very very uncomfortably dry. I have worn in 5-6 times and the results have always been the same. I don’t really enjoy the Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks due to their super drying formula but this one is worse.

Pigmentation – You can see in the swatch above, which is just one swipe, that the formula is quite pigmented & opaque. It covers discolouration really well.

Staying Power – It stays on for good 7-8 hours on me. Also the color leaves a strong stain behind.

Overall Thoughts
