Meeting Ralf Boss & A Dramatic Hair Makeover Ft TIGI Bed Head

I love experimenting with different haircuts & styles. I have realized over the years that a hairstyle/cut makes all the difference to anyone’s personality, hence my hair have been through lots of lengths, colors & styles. I never had a bad haircut but yes I don’t get pleased easily. If you are a long time reader of my blog you would know how crazy I have gone with my hair, but never tried anything edgy. However this time when I met Ralf Boss – TIGI Creative Director Taiwan & Asia South Pacific, I thought its high time and I should go for Dramatic Hair Makeover. I knew I can trust his 15 years of global experience plus TIGI Bed Head has been an iconic hair styling brand and has been creating edgy looks for years.

So we had a quick discussion before the session began. He tried to understand my likes & dislikes and worked accordingly. He also pointed out unevenness in my haircut and suggested that some layers under existing haircut would add a flow and softness to my look. Here are some pictures of my before & after look –

Bed Head TIGI has wide array of styling products. Quirky fun design of the products encourages one to be free and experiment with the style, break the boring routine and so something fun. I have personally used couple of their styling products and loved them completely especially Superstar Queen For A Day volumizing spray.

Before starting the styling, my hair were washed using Bed head Elasticate Shampoo and applied After Party Smoothing Cream to tame the frizz.

I told Ralf that there are so many products but not many of us know right way to use them, e.g how to use a texturizing cream or what it does exactly. So he demonstrated it on my hair and made my look more edgy and chic. As per him play with the strengths of your hair by understanding its behaviour e.g. wavy thick hair don’t need much volume so tame them using a smoothing cream. If your hair is thin and lack volume, use a thickening or volumizing spray and seal everything in with a strong hold spray like Bed Head Hard Head Spray in the end.

I have recorded my slightly Fun & Dramatic Hair Makeover and you can see how he kept on giving inputs and shared piece of his mind before going ahead with the cut. I liked it and was quite confident that the final outcome would worth the wait. My transformation surely made head turn when I walked out of the TIGI Zone 🙂
