Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation 322 & 330 Review

Matte & Poreless ? Two words I don’t care for, because I have dry combination skin 🙂 But being a makeup enthusiast and since Fit Me range was the most awaited launch of 2015, I had to pick the range including the foundations. Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation is available in 6 shades. I was matched to 322 Warm Honey which is generally a good match, however looking at its pink undertones, I was skeptical and picked the darkest shade 330 Toffee Caramel to mix and make it work.

Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation comes in a glass bottle with no pump. Honestly after looking at the price tag I didn’t care much.

Foundation has a light texture and easy to blend formula. I really enjoyed working it on the skin. It offers medium coverage. For me it wasn’t as matte as other matte foundations generally are. It had more of a semi-matte finish, which doesn’t highlight dry patches on the skin, at least in my case it didn’t. Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation 322 & 330 Price Photos Demo swatches review (2)

The only and the biggest downside is the pink undertone, which makes my complexion dull & ashy. Ashyness caused by lighter foundation is different than one caused by pink toned foundation. I look grey and dead !

I have done a first impressions video on Maybelline Fit Me Range you can watch it below or here

Majority of Indian women have yellow undertones, as strong as mine, but most of the drugstore/ affordable brands launch pink toned foundations, which is something I don’t get ! 330 Toffee Caramel still has some yellow tones but the shade would work for NC 45 +

The Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation stays on for good 6+ hours without a primer on me in current weather (winters). I have tried out the Fit Me regular version of the foundation in past which I bought from feelunique.com and in a perfect yellow toned shade which you can see HERE

I have already reviewed Maybelline Fit Me Concealer on the blog in a better shade (for me) you can check out that review HERE

I couldn’t test its matte & poreless capabilities since my skin doesn’t have large pores and its pretty dry.

Overall Thoughts

Price won my heart but shade range broke it into pieces. I could able to find my perfect shade match and would have loved to wear it often only if it weren’t this pink. The color makes me look ashy and grey. I would strongly suggest you all to test out the Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless foundation in store before buying.
