Laura Geller Guava Baked Gelato Swirl Blush Review Photos Price

I love buying blush left, right and centre and when Laura Geller released these beautiful and eye catching shades last year. I picked Laura Geller Guava Baked Gelato which is described as Peachy Pink. I like powder blushes and stays away from cream options most of the times, just 2 – 3 in the rolling as they tend to pick dust and germs easily but this was calling out my name and here it is.

Description – For a complete makeup lover it is always hard to describe the beauty virtually. I picked this just to try the texture and feel and settled for the safest choice of shades amongst other dark colours from the same range. “GUAVA” is beautiful warm toned Medium to Dark bright and vibrant peachy pink shade with soft warm golden sheen to it. It is very safe colour and nothing unique about it but again as I said I choose the safest bet as I was buying online and it turned out to be a perfect flush of colour for my NC 40 skin tone.

Texture – The texture of Laura Geller Guava Blush is cream to powder. It doesn’t feel like heavy cream blush , the feel is very light and blend able. It can be applied with a brush or even fingers, very soft and pliable texture it has and transforms to powder product when applied on cheeks. I use my skunk brush but if I’m in hurry my fingers does equally good job.

Packaging – I simply dislike the packaging it comes in transparent plastic cover and black base. It is so flimsy and tacky but again the shade is stunner. That’s why I would ignore and also the price is decent so guess there is nothing much to complain here .

Staying Power – I have used this in day time and without any AC , trust me you. It stayed on so well without fading or looking patchy for 7 – 8 hrs. The soft golden sheen faded a little but solid colour was still there till the time I remove it .

Overall Thoughts

As mentioned above, apart from packaging there is nothing to complain about Laura Geller Guava Baked Gelato Swirl Blush. The shade is beautiful, texture is unbelievably soft and smooth plus the staying power is awesome. I would love to pick another shade from his range sooner or later.
