Texture & Formula – The Kajal has a smooth texture, it isn’t too matte but neither over creamy. The texture is just right to give you nice application in one stroke. It isn’t a smudge proof formula but quite a long staying one. I wore it on lower as well as upper lash line and it stayed on for good 4 hrs on waterline and 7+ hours on upper lash line (as an eyeliner).
The staying power surprised me for sure. It lasted a long time as an eyeliner and didn’t smudge or transfer. It will smudge if you rub your eyes but without that it stays on pretty much whole day (9-5) without much fading.
On waterline it stayed on for a decent time. on my watery eyes it worked very well. Most of the kajals wash out after initial 2 hours but this one stayed on for a good time.
Pigmentation is really good. You will get opaque black line in one stroke which is really surprising for such an affordable product. I have been using Elle 18 Eye Drama Bold Black Kajal for almost a week now and it definitely needs a good waterproof makeup remover to come off completely.

Overall Thoughts
Finding a good long staying kajal in Rs 135 is a challenge but Elle 18 did it. Elle 18 Eye Drama Bold Black Kajal is a good choice for those who love budget makeup products. The formula is long wearing and doesn’t smudge. On waterline it stays for good 4+ hours !
