Chambor Orosa Lip Perfection Lipstick Hypnotic Plum (Rs 995)
I hauled couple of products from Chambor Orosa Range last month, you can check out the review of the Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation which is my current favorite foundation. The packaging of this entire range is super pretty – Rose Gold, which is in trend these days. The bullet case almost looks like MAC Lipsticks, though a bit rounder and fatter. Because of the high price I picked only one shade from Chambor Orosa Lip Perfection Lipstick to test the waters, also the formula was a bit too creamy for my liking since I am into a matte phase these days 😀
Shade – Chambor Orosa Hypnotic Plum is a plum shade which will suits almost all skintones. I really like darker shades in general and the current season also calls for some deep plum or berry shades. So after swatching 15 shades I chose this one. This range has quite a lot of shades to offer , around 21 may be.
Texture & Formula – The lipstick has slightly curved tip, which hugs the lips and makes application quite easy. The texture of Chambor Orosa Lip Perfection Lipstick is very creamy, it almost melts on the lips while you glide it on. The formula doesn’t tug or pull lips, and one swipe covers lips evenly. For the current weather when lips are getting drier than ever, creamy formula is the only saviour. Though I dab my lips with a tissue to take off the excess and get a semi-matte finish. The color or product doesn’t settle into lip lines.
Pigmentation – The above swatch is single swipe of Hypnotic Plum. Its insanely pigmented and covers lip discoloration or pigmentation nicely!
Staying Power – Chambor Orosa Lip Perfection Lipstick Hypnitc Plum stays on for good 4-5 hours and leaves a slight stain behind.
Overall Thoughts
If you love cream finishes, do try Chambor Orosa Lip Perfection Lipstick range. Its quite extensive and offers a lot of shades. Hypnotic Plum is a perfect shade for the colder months, as it looks amazing on medium-deeper skintones. Formula is quite moisturizing and doesn’t settle in lip lines. Only and the biggest downside is the price which is steep for a drugstore brand.
