Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation Review Swatches Demo

Chambor Geneva has launched new collection – Orosa. I was at the mall the other day and spotted this huge banner with a picture of the collection. I loved the rose-gold packaging and how luxorious it looked . So decided to check it out. I was only interested in lipsticks & eye shadows however the executive showed me Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion foundation bottle and I was like WHAT?? If this serum foundation? he was like “Yeah”, but the moment he told me that only 4 shades are available, my heart sank, I knew that as always my shade wouldn’t be available. He insisted to give it a shot, I had time so thought of trying it out on my face and see how well the second darkest shades matches with my complexion. Needless to mention that I was sold !

Shade – I was matched to 302 which was the second darkest shade available. Fortunately the foundation has yellow undertones , hence it doesn’t leave a grey cast on the pigmented areas of my face, except forehead which is quite darker than rest of my face. I use bronzer there to blend the foundation and hairline, and it works for me.

Packaging – Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation Comes in a glass bottle with a dropper.

Texture & Formula – Foundation has a light almost watery formula. It blends into the skin almost instantly without leaving any traces of foundation behind. It gives a natural finish. Formula is matte but doesn’t look flat or mask like. Its so light weight that you wouldn’t feel it on your face. It sets almost immediately and I don’t really have to set it with powder, however after couple of hours my nose starts to look shiny and I have to dust some powder there.

Coverage – Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation provides sheer-medium coverage. It evens out skintone completely but wouldn’t cover blemishes completely.

Staying Power – On me this foundation stays on for good 6+ hours.

The only downside would be coverage. If you are looking at a full coverage foundation then Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation will not be the one, however if you are looking for something that can be worn daily then do give it a try. Also the shade range is very limited, I am glad that 302 matches me perfectly.

You can also watch my recent video which is a demo on this foundation 🙂

Overall Thoughts

Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation is a perfect product if you are looking a product that offers natural finish with a light weight texture. It doesn’t feel greasy or sticky. Staying power is also good and it survives heat and sweat.

This is expensive for a drug store brand. Wish they have more colour options.
