Dry Shampoos are a necessity for me. I use them as dry shampoo (what they are meant for) to get rid of greasiness and refresh hair. Also it can be used for adding volume. Spray it on the roots of your hair and get an instant life. I was using Bblunt Back To Life Dry Shampoo for a long time since there aren’t many options available in India. One day I saw Batiste Dry Shampoo Instant Hair Refresh Floral & Flirty Blush online at Nykaa and bought it immediately.

Batiste is a really popular brand internationally. It was so far available only at Sephora, so finding it online was a pleasant surprise. Also the price is quite good for the quantity. A huge 200 ml bottle that should last you months. There are almost 7 variants available and since its quite hot these days, I decided to pick Floral & Flirty Blush. The bottle itself looks quite summery & girly.
The scent is not strong which is perfect for everyday. I don’t want a headache and this product has a faint fresh scent. Spray it from a distance so that the powder substance doesn’t get deposited on the hair like patch. I keep it 6-8 inches away and spray on the roots. I massage the product gently and it adds volume + soaks up oil or grease from hair.
I use it on 2nd or 3rd day hair and it instantly lift up the roots. Sometimes after flat ironing hair they start to look limp or flat, that time you can spray Batiste Dry Shampoo on the roots and it adds volume.
Make sure to shake the bottle before using or else you will end up with powder falling from your hair. Which is something that happened with me first time. It looked like dandruff on my shoulders. Later I realised it was dry shampoo which didn’t look pleasant. Shake well each time.
Also unlike other dry shampoos it doesn’t make hair rough or lack lustre. There were small travel size cans also available which I guess are out of stock now.
Overall Thoughts
If you are looking for a good dry shampoo, I will surely recommend trying Batiste Dry Shampoo Instant Hair Refresh. Floral & Flirty Blush variant is perfect for sweaty hot weather. The bottle is huge and price is justified when compared to the other options available in Indian market.

Though not fond of dry shampoos, I want to try this. The other day I saw it in super market shelf but the smaller size was OOS. It s so famous, I gotta try 😀
