Bblunt is a brand that I always wanted to try ever since it launched. Only issue was that I didn’t know where to buy it from. The other day when I was in lifestyle, I saw a small counter of BBlunt products. I couldn’t help and went there to check out if they had Dry Shampoo and yes it was in stock ! I checked the price and picked it instantly.

Dry Shampoo can be used to get rid of oily scalp on second or third day of wash. In my case I use it to refresh my hair and add some volume. I have used L’Oreal Techni art Dry Shampoo which wasn’t that impressive.

As you can see it comes in a spray can and can dispenses right amount of product with each spray. Formula doesn’t feel wet or cool when sprayed on to the hair roots, it immediately sucks any oil or greasiness and adds volume. It works effectively however I will suggest you to shake the can for couple of seconds, hold it a bit far from your head to avoid the product from depositing at one place and spray on to the roots. Massage the product into your scalp and brush you hair. It doesn’t have a strong scent.

Only issue is the white residue it leaves behind. You can see it clearly near roots in the before picture. To avoid that I use BBlunt Dry Shampoo in the night and brush my hair as much as I can to evenly distribute the product and avoid white residue from being prominent. So unfortunately no matter how much I like this dry shampoo as a volumizing product I can’t really use it on the go.

This product will be a blessing for girls with oily scalp as it works very effectively. Also unlike other dry shampoos available in the Indian market, BBlunt Dry shampoo is easily available online and in stores, and very pocket friendly.

Overall Thoughts

If your oily scalp bothers you, BBlunt Dry Shampoo will be of great help. Formula effectively removes oily from the scalp leaving fresher and voluminous roots/ hair. It is affordable and easily available both online (Nykaa) and offline. Only downside is the white residue it leaves, which shouldn’t be much of an issue if you comb your hair or use it the night before.
