Avon Glimmerstick – Majestic Plum, Emerald, Starry Night Blue, Blackest Black Review

If you want your eyes to be the  focus on your pretty face, then a simple stroke of colored eye liner or classic jet black liner  can help you. Being an ardent lover of pretty eyeliners , picked up the avon glimmer sticks which are affordable and appeared quite promising to me. Avon Glimmerstick is available in the following shades :-

Among these I own blackest black, starry night blue, majestic plum and emerald, lets see how this worked for me

Packaging – The avon glimmerstick eye liners comes in black retractable pen packaging.  The lower side of the glimmersticks have colored ends as per the shade for color identification. The description and shade name is written with silver font which appears quite chic . Overall the packaging looks sleek and is travel friendly as well .

Shades – 

Majestic Plum – This shade can be described as a wine color. If you are someone who would love to switch the classic black liner with something little intense soft color, then this wine purple shade is something which can look good.

Emerald :-

This is a pretty basic tree green shade which would look quite amazing on many skin tones.

Starry night blue:-

Among all glimmersticks, this shade is my favorite as its a beautiful deep blue  shade

Blackest black:-

This one is a classic black shade , I am little disappointed with this shade as it’s not a super intense pitch black shade.

Pigmentation & Texture – The Avon glimmersticks are not extremely pigmented, their pigmentation can me marked as  satisfactory one. One needs to swipe two to three times to get the maximum color out of it. I found shade blackest black and starry blue night to be much better in terms of pigmentation than the other two which  is emerald and majestic plum. The texture of all glimmersticks are same, they all have an average creamy texture which can be wearable. They glide easily on the eyes and feels comfortable too.

Staying Power – They stay intact on our eyes without being smudged for about 3-4- hours. I like the fact that these eye liners are in retractable form and the tip of these liners are pretty precise , so it’s easy to apply even for beginners .

If you are looking for  affordable liners to start with then Avon Glimmerstick can be given a shot however do not expect something major from them.
