The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Night Mask Review & Regime

The Tea Tree range by The Body Shop is an absolute saviour for all the oily skinned beauties out there. They offer a complete range of products with tea tree extracts from the foothills of Mount Kenya. Within their tea tree range, Body Shop launched a couple of new products, one last year and one recently. The Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Night Mask was recently launched so I decided to give their tea tree range a try. I’ve been dealing with oily skin and acne for years now so I was pretty excited to try these products out. I created a routine regimen with The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Night Mask, tea tree 3-in-1 Wash Scrub Mask and tea tree Anti-Imperfection Daily SolutionThe Body Shop Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Night Mask Review & Regime

Packaging – The packaging for all three products looks very neat and convenient to use. The 3-in-1 wash, scrub, mask comes in a long green tube with a flip cap which makes it even more handy to use. The solution comes in a glass bottle with a science lab like dropper in it. It has to be my favourite packaging from this range. I love the bottle and dropper container as it lets you control how much product you want at once.

The Anti Imperfection Night Mask is packed in a small glass jar and every time you have to apply the mask, you have to scoop it out using a spatula or your fingers, which I think is not very clean. It exposes the product to unwanted foreign particles and contamination. All products have decent quantity for the price.

Texture – The scrub has a greenish white colour with granules that exfoliate the skin well. The medium is actually clay so that removes impurities from the skin. The anti-imperfection solution is luckily very light and feels almost like water.

The Anti Imperfection Night Mask is jelly-like and very light as well. I had my doubts about the night mask but it’s so light and refreshing, it feels amazing. The first time you apply any of these products you feel a tantalizing sensation on your skin like you have put some icy-cold minty product on your face. I was shocked how it felt the first time but eventually it got mellow.

It’s been three weeks since I’ve been using these products and I must say I see the difference. I have developed a routine around these products. I use the 3-in-1 wash as a face wash every morning followed by a few drops of the anti-imperfection solution after drying my face. I make sure I use the solution twice every day before I apply any makeup or sun-block. For me it acts as a serum plus toner. Every 3-4 days, I use the 3-in-1 as a scrub to exfoliate the dead cells and blackheads. My work routine exposes me to a lot of outdoor and dusty area so I make sure I use the scrub often.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Night Mask Review & Regime

I use the Anti Imperfection Night Mask every alternate day. After cleansing my face I apply a thin layer of the mask all over my face and neck before I sleep. The mask takes a few minutes to dry off. The best thing about the mask is that it is super light and does not stain the pillows.

Every oil control product I have used before these has dried my skin around my nose. However, this routine keeps oil in control and also keeps my skin moisturized. The mask and serum have worked wonders honestly. I haven’t experienced excess oil in the last one week and no dryness around my nose either.

The main difference I have noticed with this regimen is how my skin feels and looks now. The little scars and blemishes have lightened and acne has been under control. I haven’t experience a major burst of painful pimples this month like I used to. However I still have tiny little bumps of acne in some places. But I’m hoping using these products regularly will combat that as well. The products may seem expensive for the quantity but a little goes a long way. All three products are required in very little amount each day and I’m sure they’ll easily last around 3-4 months.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Anti Imperfection Night Mask is priced at Rs 1,995 for 75 ml available Online

Overall Thoughts :

I would highly recommend The Body Shop Tea Tree range  to anyone struggling with oily and acne prone skin. The 3-in-1 scrub mask wash is very convenient as you don’t need a separate scrub or mask. The Anti Imperfection Night Mask is totally worth it and the solution combats oil really well.
