Oriflame The One Volume Blast Mascara (Rs 529 for 8 ml)
I have sparse, short nightmare-ish eyelashes. Not all the mascaras work on them and so far only two of them have really made a difference to their appearance. However I always get ecstatic just with the mention of “Volume” or “Lengthening” . The latest mascara that I am using and will be review is Oriflame The One Volume Blast Mascara . Packaging is simple and bright. I like the wand specially which has short bristles that ensure equal distribution of formula on al the lashes without clumping them together.
The wand is long and quite thin. I have had my share of bad & average mascaras and now I know what kind of wand would work. This type of wand is good for separating and coating lashes evenly.
Formula of The One Volume Blast Mascara is not runny and that is the best part. The wand doesn’t come out loaded with product, just enough to coat lashes once. I use at least two coats to get maximum volume without weighing them down. My lashes are pin straight so keep them curled for long hours is another challenge for me.
Formula coats lashes nicely without clumping. I don’t really see much lengthening, however my lashes look way better than their natural self.
Only downside is that the formula is non-waterproof. It can be a blessing in disguise for many who love to wear mascara daily and taking off a waterproof mascara at the end of the day can actually make their eyelashes shed. That is one of the reasons why I also like washable mascaras.
On me it stays on food good 5+ hours without flaking. However I can see some transfer on the bottom lashes after a couple of hours which doesn’t looks appealing. Also I don’t see any magical volume after application, though I am happy with the results nevertheless.
Overall Thoughts
If you are looking for a nice mascara for everyday use do try Oriflame The One Volume Blast Mascara. It has a decent staying power and gives nice volume. I like my lashes clumpfree and separated and this is what this mascara does. The wand makes sure that each every lash is covered equally , and it the mechanism/ scrapper inside the tube makes sure that wand doesn’t come out loaded with mascara.

Most of my mascaras are from Oriflame only and this THE ONE Volume Blast Mascara is what I’m wearing daily these days. In two coats, this mascara provides awesome volume and curl to the lashes, and it’s a nice dark black.
