Oriflame has recently launched “The One” range of makeup. I have already reviewed Illuskin Foundation and today I will be sharing my thoughts on the concealer from the same range.

Oriflame The One Illuskin Concealer comes in a tube with a narrow nozzle pretty much life MAC Select Cover Up Concealer. I find it quite convenient as it disperses very small amount at one time.

Concealer comes in 3 shades – Fair Light, Nude Pink & Nude Beige. I have got the Nude Beige which is a warm toned one, however despite being the darkest of the lot, it is still way too light for me.

Texture of the concealer is quite nice. It is runny in consistency and the formula feels really light weight. Formula feels creamy but very thin, I mean once you apply it you wouldn’t  be able to feel it. and once blended no one can tell that you have concealer on. Formula doesn’t crease or cake and gives very natural finish if it matches your skin. On me it works more like an under-eye brightener and looks good as long as I don’t take all the way upto my eyelids, where it turns ashy.

The Illuskin Concealer sets quickly and doesn’t need a powder on top. It is good for warmer months however people with dry skin would need properly moisturized under eye are before applying Oriflame Concealer.

Coverage is medium. You can build it up but I like it this way only, it looks natural. Most of the times I mix it with MAC Proongwear Concealer and apply to get perfectly covered and highlighted under eye area.

Overall Thoughts

I really like the smooth light weight texture and crease-free formula of Oriflame The One Illuskin Concealer. Only downside is limited shade availability.

Rating : 3.75/5

I have this concealer and I love it, too. It gives me the perfect coverage, not too much, because I don’t have big problems with dark circles, but I have my days when I feel exhausted, and I love the brightness it gives to my under eye area.

Couldn’t agree more, it definitely works really well as an eye brightener 🙂

True , that is the biggest downside. I am not much into light concealers
