NARS No Shame Killer Shine Lipstick Review Swatches Photos

I have shared NARS Audacious lipsticks here in past with shades ranging from light pink to orange to brown and here I’m with their another formula which made a debut with the limited edition collection but was available for quite a long time and I was able to pick NARS No Shame Killer Shine Lipstick from their site and I see this on and off on their official site … noooo not planning for backup my girls!

Shade – NARS NO SHAME Killer shine lipstick is described as RED PLUM on their site , it is gorgeously stunning bright plum berry shade which will remind you of famous shade “MAC REBEL” in first look although it is little darker and looks very flattering on my NC 40 skin tone . The fuchsia undertones of this really stand out from regular plum shades available in market.

Texture & formula – This was a limited edition “texture” they launched … “ KILLER SHINE” and I was curious to see how it excels and hence picked this shade , the formula is very light weight , creamy and shiny as the name suggests . It doesn’t settle in fine lines nor does it fades unevenly.

Pigmentation – The lipstick is semi opaque in 2 swipes and sits pretty on my lips for 4 – 5 hours without fading unevenly and that’s a huge plus in a creamy lipstick like this. I get a nice berry tint on my lips once NARS No Shame wears off which is equally flattering.

Overall Thoughts

I adore NARS Lipstick formula, be it their satin matte pencils, velvet matte pencils, their audacious range or the regular lipstick. NARS No Shame Killer Shine Lipstick too really impressed me and I would like to try new shades in same formula if they have in near future. I like the shade and feel they are gorgeous on our skin tone and am sure you will agree with me on that.
