Packaging – Sleek True color lipsticks come in black plastic packaging with name of the shade written at the bottom. Packaging feels rubbery, is light and sturdy.

Shade – Vamp is a Deep brown-red shade. Color justifies its name very well, Vamp is for those who love to wear deep dark colors. In my opinion this shade would suit all skintones. Its matte but doesn’t look flat on lips and has slight sheen to it. It looks very deep when you look at the bullet but comes off little lighter on lips.

Texture and Formula – Despite of being a matte lipstick, the texture feels quite smooth upon application. It glides on smoothly. Formula doesn’t feel dry or patchy whatsoever. Though I always advise to wear a lip balm underneath matte shades since they tend to highlight lip wrinkles and flakiness. With Vamp i have observed that if you have non-exfoliated dry lips then the dryness will start peeking through it after 1 hour of wear.

Pigmentation – Superb, One sweep covers lips swiftly. Vamp can be applied lightly as a stain too if you don’t want to wear such deep shades during the day.

Staying Power – Being a matte lipstick it stays on pretty well. I applied the lipstick, blotted it, then reapplied , it stayed on me for good 7+ hours with meals in between. It starts fading a little from the middle of the lips after 3-4 hours.

Overall Thoughts

Sleek True Color Lipstick Vamp is a beautiful deep shade for those who love wearing dark colors. One can always wear such shades as stain. Superb pigmentation and long staying power makes it worth each penny. The formula is not very drying and uncomfortable like other matte lipsticks. Although I would advise all of you to exfoliate and moisturiser your lips really well before applying any matte shade. Only downside would be the availability since its only available online.
