I love glowing skin, who doesn’t? I have dry skin and some foundations make it too matte, almost flat and I am not a huge fan of powder highlighters, so MAC Strobe Cream came to my rescue. Its an hydrating lotion with iridescent shimmers, that just blends into the skin with leaving a healthy sheen behind. This lotion has some shimmers, but they are very fine.
How I use it
There are several ways of using MAC Strobe Cream
1. Use as a moisturizer to prepare skin before foundation. It makes skin moisturized and supple, for my dry skin it works wonderfully during winters. I have been trying and testing this product for sometime now and this is way works best for me. Sometimes I mix it with my foundation and apply all over my face. If you think that even a stranger would spot shimmers on your face, than you are wrong, people will only notice a subtle glow or sheen. It gives an illusion of well rested healthy skin. I have used MAC Strobe Cream as a base HERE (with flash) and HERE (Without flash)
2. Use it as a highlighter only. Once you have your foundation on, apply MAC Strobe Cream on high points of your face like cheek bone, bridge of nose etc. and blend. It blends seamlessly leaving a nice sheen behind. 
Who would like MAC Strobe Cream
Those who want subtle glow without using chunky highlighters. People with dry skin like mine who want a product that is effortless and looks natural.
Also once you put powder on the foundation, the glow/ dewiness reduces, I mean those who find it too shiny can put powder on.
Overall Thoughts
MAC Strobe Cream is a good product to have specially when you have dry flaky skin that starts looking flat once you have foundation on or you don’t like shimmery highlighters. It imparts a subtle glow without making one a disco ball or oil well. This is not a must have but good to have product since it photographs well.
