MAC Heroine Lipstick (Rs 1450) available at MAC stores across India
MAC Heroine lipstick was launched last year and made MAC fans crazy around the globe so much that it was almost out of stock immediately after the release ; here and overseas . Even after months MAC crazy fans were demanding this shade to be made permanent and there we are; the shade is part of permanent line .While I picked the lipstick immediately after the release I was too scared to use this initially, but now am happy and glad I picked this shade, it is not the shade I use often and on its own but I do love to pair this with gloss at times.

Shade – MAC HEROINE is matte bright purple shade with cool undertones to it. It is not an everyday shade and not meant for everyone mind you , but if you are little daring and love lipsticks then don’t miss a chance no matter what is your colouring , this will enhance your beauty even more even if worn as stain or power packed . There is nothing close to this available in Indian market I am sure.
Texture and Formula – MAC Matte formula is comfortable to use and layers easily without tugging or pulling; it is matte and not retro matte. This is my favourite finish and I can blindly buy them without even trying.
Pigmentation – MAC Heroine Lipstick is damn pigmented shade and is opaque in one layer, if you find this too bright you can use this as a stain which is equally beautiful.
Staying power – The matte lipstick stays beautifully for 6 plus hr and the fuchsia pink tint which it leave behind stay for another hour or two .
Overall thoughts
I hardly give 5 on 5 to MAC Lipsticks but their matte lipstick I absolutely enjoy using and do recommend them and a shade so unconventional like MAC Heroine Lipstick is absolute must have if you are little experimental .
