MAC Whirl Matte Lipstick Review Swatches Photos

Now this is one of those shades that legit broke the internet, the instafame KYLIE JENNER, was told to be wearing this shade , and ever since was the lip pencil of this shade out of stock at every possible MAC store, so much adverted shade, MAC decided to launch an individual lipstick of this shade, lets know more. MAC Whirl Matte Lipstick (Rs 1450 INR)

Shade :  As I have both the lip pencil and the lipstick in WHIRL. I feel that the lipstick is a little more pinker as compared to the original lip pencil. It is a beautiful every day mauve-pink brown colour, which suits every single skin tone, and is the cult KYLIE JENNER colour .

Packaging :  Even though Whirl is part of a collection it comes In the regular black MAC packaging, nothing much to fancy about.

Texture & Formula : As the name states it is a MATTE  finish, which happens to be my favourite one from MAC. As in general I love matte finishes over any other, WHIRL is a creamy matte , non-drying  formulation, which goes on like a dreamy totally non patchy, what do I say, its PERFECTION.

Pigmentation : Bang on.!! Like OPAQUE in a single swipe, no tugging or pulling, this is what I ,love about the mattes from MAC.

Staying Power :  The staying power of MAC Whirl is decent, not like  a super long wearing formula. It stays on me for about 4 hours, with snacking in between, this is how and average lipstick stays on me.

Overall Thoughts

This is a total must have, like you NEED it, get it for the formula if not the shade, and the shade WHIRL. What do I say it is nearly un-dupable. Apart from the brick rose lip liner by LAKME, that is why the world goes GAGA over  the shade. It wears decently, and doesn’t flake, if you need one shade from the MATTE LIP collection it should be MAC Whirl.
